Our campaign has received the trust and support of our local heroes, I'm thankful for their dedication and sacrifice they bring to our community every day.

Together, we’ve achieved several key milestones for Montebello:

Approved a transformative new service model for our department: Firefighter Paramedic Model.
Approved 18 new firefighter/paramedic positions.
Approved the purchase of two new fire engines, one ladder truck and three paramedic squads for improved medical emergency response.

Approved an $18.2 million budget for 2024-25, increasing support for fire suppression and funding MCAP for homelessness and mental health assistance.
Established a lateral firefighter academy to recruit experienced personnel.
Approved two new Training Battalion Chiefs (BC) and one Medical Emergency BC position.
Increased city contributions to employee health insurance plans for the first time in 16 years.
Championed the Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) program.
